I woke up one morning to go to my new job, which I had just started two weeks before, not feeling well and had vomitted. I had a feeling I was pregnant so as soon as I walked out of the bathroom I walked over to Jim and said, "Happy Father's Day!" The funniest part was it actually was father's day. So I called work and told them that I was not feeling well and that if I am feeling better I will call to say I was coming in later. Two days later, on my birthday, I went to the doctor and it was confirmed that I was indeed pregnant. Then four days after my birthday we went home to celebrate our one year anniversary and told everyone that we were expecting. I called my Grandmother who was in New York at the time to tell her. I said, "I have good news and I think you should sit down." She immediately said, "Your pregnant." She sounded like she was not happy and then I heard my Aunt Neva in the background say, "Well, congratulate her." I was so hurt that the moment I got off the phone I started to bawl. My Grandmother has accepted it and loves Japheth so much.
That was one of the best weeks of my life.

Here we are!
Hello! We are the Kassera family. In our family there is James (Daddy), Jenny (Mommy), and Japheth (1st Born Son). We are hoping to have another child when God chooses to bless us again. I would like a little girl, but I will be happy no matter what.
Here is a little bit about each of us:
James is a second year seminarian at Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary. He loves sports and video games. James works at Subway by TJ Maxx. He has worked there since the summer of 2006. James has 2 brothers and 1 sister. Lisa, his sister, is attending Bethany Lutheran College as an Elementary Education major.
I, Jenny, was a C.N.A. for 8 1/2 years until April 2008 when I started working with the Harry Meyering Center. I am working at a house with 4 idividuals that are all so wonderful. Working for HMC has been one of the best jobs I have ever had in my whole life. The other would be my home town nursing home, Plum City Care Center, where I worked just short of 5 years. I have 2 sisters named Michelle, 22, and Emily, 20.
Jim and I have been married since June 25, 2005.
Japheth was born on February 15, 2007. He loves to dance, eat chocolate, typical things toddlers like to do, but his favorite thing to do is fuss. There is not a whole lot to say about him just yet, but I will keep posting about things he does so that everyone will get to know him.
I will apologize now, I am not very good at keeping up with blogs but I will do my best.
